Adrian Rich
Chief Executive Officer
Adrian Rich, Partner and Chief Executive Officer, founded Simple Technology Solutions late in 2014 as a federally-focused digital consultancy. From its inception, STS began as a business development consultancy working with mid-to-large GovCon businesses in bringing their IT solutions to the Homeland Security space. Today, Adrian leads corporate strategic initiatives to expand the Simple Technology Solutions footprint while building and maintaining an employee culture that fuels growth and success. After just 5 years, 2019 proved to be an exceptional year for Simple Technology Solutions, ranking #429 on the “Inc. 5000” list, #13 on Washington Technology’s “Fast 50”, and receiving the 2019 “Best Places to Work” honors from the Washington Business Journal.
“Our success is measured by our mission: to identify client needs, apply cutting-edge IT solutions, and provide apprenticeship opportunities for motivated individuals to meet and exceed the demands of the industry. We’ve created a symbiotic relationship between our customers, our business, and our team. By providing technically superior solutions for our customers, we are able to build our business and establish mentorship programs to develop a skilled workforce. Our continued growth is a reflection of our team, their talent, and willingness to learn, adapt, and succeed, ” says Adrian.
Prior to starting Simple Technology Solutions, Adrian was a Senior Director at General Dynamics IT, managing a large swath of its Homeland Security business development portfolio. He spent several years prior to his GDIT tenure running professional services and business development at Enterprise Solutions Realized. Adrian’s “IT leadership” identity stems from his work as a special education teacher in Baltimore City, where he evolved into a technical project manager leading all types of IT projects in education, private industry, and the federal space.
Adrian holds a BA in Government from the College of William & Mary, a Masters in Teaching (MAT) from Morgan State University, and a Professional Certificate in Business Leadership from Johns Hopkins University.
