The What
STS provides full spectrum cloud architecture and engineering services for cloud/multi-cloud environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud and Commercial, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
We design, build, operate, and maintain centralized infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (Paas) environments for large federal agencies using DevSecOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), and other automation practices. We also offer managed hosting for smaller agencies looking to outsource application hosting and infrastructure support services.
Our Approach
We follow AWS, Azure, and GCP Well-Architected Framework principles when designing and implementing cloud solutions. Our Agile delivery approach leverages core tenants of ITIL IV and FinOps to ensure alignment with business priorities and effective cost management via tagging and labeling, resource optimization, and visibility into cloud spend.
Using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and other SRE automation strategies, we streamline and automate cloud resource management, provisioning, configuration, and maintenance to the maximum extent practicable. Using monitoring and alerting and service desk tickets, we identify bottlenecks, break-fixes, and other opportunities to apply automation for more efficient and secure operations.
